Causal Conditioning
Note: Today, this conditioning is understood as Narcissism.
- The roots lie in a subtle seduction by a parent – not openly sexual, but emotionally binding.
- The child is used to satisfy the parent's narcissistic needs.
- This »seduction« feels like rejection to the child – lacking genuine support and contact.
- A triangular relationship often arises: the child competes with the parent of the same sex and cannot identify with them.
- In this vulnerable situation, the child reacts either with dominance (tyrannizing) or manipulation.
- Additionally, restrictive messages like »Be quiet!« or »You are so sweet – but be quiet now!« take effect.
- The child wants to unfold, fights against these restrictions – and tyrannizes others or manipulates to gain space.
- The humiliations by the parents generate hate – and guilt towards them.
Energetic State
- The energy distribution in the body is unbalanced:
- It flows strongly into the **head** – where constant thought is given to how to maintain control.
- The flow downwards is **blocked** – especially in the diaphragm and the waist.
- Tyrannical Type: Energy goes up, the pelvis remains rigid and undercharged.
- Manipulative Type: Pelvis is overcharged, but not connected to the inner core.
Physical Appearance
- Tyrannical Type:
- Strongly developed upper body, narrow lower body.
- Shoulders raised, chest pushed out, rigid physique.
- Alert eyes, alert head.
- Manipulative Type:
- Body appears more balanced, back very flexible.
- Eyes appear seductive.
- Both types show tension in the diaphragm, the eye area, and the back of the head.
Psychological Patterns
- Tyrannical Type: Dominant, controlling, power-oriented.
- Manipulative Type: Charming, seductive, subtle.
- Core Fears:
- Fear of humiliation, defeat, dependence, mistakes, and neediness.
- Feelings of inferiority are compensated by control over others.
- Simultaneous dependence on those being controlled – an oral pattern.
- The Psychopathic Type wants closeness – but only if they maintain control: »You may be close to me, as long as you look up to me.«
- They must win in every competitive situation – often using sexuality or seduction.
- They strive for control and apparent freedom – but can barely surrender or relax.
- Feelings are denied, needs are hidden.
- They manipulate others into needing them – so they don't have to show their own neediness.
- Societally:
- Often in leadership positions, power figures.
- Fashion and style are often psychopathic in nature.
- Sexuality:
- Lust and sex as a means of control.
- Performance pressure, often linked to impotence.
- Enjoyment and surrender are missing – the body remains under tension.
- Strengths:
- Directness, strength, will, courage.
- Ability to provoke others and draw them out.
- Positive power, leadership quality.
- Typical Complaints:
- Stomach ulcers
- Heart problems (especially after defeat)
- Midlife crisis
Therapy Goals
- The Psychopathic Type must learn to let go– and gain access to their deeper layers:
- Neediness
- Sadness
- Vulnerability
- Fear of control and manipulation
- Therapy Approaches:
- Uncertainty, failures, career crises, surrender, grounding.
- Connection to the heart – melting!
- Learning to receive, express needs, ask for help, be grateful.
- Important:
- Do not engage in power games.
- Set tasks, move them out of the head, promote heart connection.
- First comes anger, then sadness.
- Helpful: Bodywork, pulsation, breathing exercises, energy work.
